Skin Microneedling
The Codex device is a professional-grade skin needling (microneedling) system designed to improve skin health and stimulate natural collagen production. It uses ultra-fine sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response and encouraging the production of collagen and elastin.
Nurse Monica uses this device to deliver consistent, even penetration with minimal trauma to the skin, helping improve comfort and reduce downtime.
The Codex microneedling device is commonly used to treat:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scarring
Enlarged pores
Uneven skin texture
Pigmentation and sun damage
Stretch marks
Skin laxity and dullness
During treatment, the device creates tiny channels in the skin, which also allows active serums and skincare products to penetrate more effectively for enhanced results.
Most clients experience mild redness for 24–48 hours after treatment, with progressive improvements in skin texture, brightness, and firmness over the following weeks as collagen rebuilds naturally.
Treatments for wrinkles
Aesthetic treatments may soften the appearance of facial lines in areas such as the frown, forehead and eyes (crows feet).
Lip Rejuvenation & Facial volumisation
Cosmetic treatments are planned to rejuvenate or enhance the size and shape of the lip tissue or other facial structures and contours. Nurse consultations allows for assessment, education, treatment planning and consent.
Skin Hydrating Booster
Skin Booster treatments are performed by one of our Nurses with aim to improve skin structure, hydration and elasticity.
Medical Treatments
Nurse consultations are available for considerations of the following:
- Bruxism (Teeth grinding)
- Axillary Hyperhidrosis (Excessive underarm sweating)
- Allergic Rhinitis (Hayfever symptoms)

Health Practitioner Led Treatments
Nurses provide assessment and treatment for both cosmetic and some medical concerns at our Chelsea Heights location every week.

Cosmetic Treatments
Aesthetic treatments may prevent the formation of wrinkles and reduce the signs of ageing.
Common areas include frown, forehead, around eyes, chin and upper lip.

At Medilounge we can assess and plan treatment for other medical concerns. These may ease symptoms of jaw pain, teeth grinding, hayfever symptoms and excessive underarm sweating.
A thorough medical history and assessment is required prior to treatment for these concerns. We aim to provide both in-clinic treatments and non-pharmacological strategies to assist with your wellbeing.

Monica is a Nurse Practitioner with a broad skill and knowledge base, she has a conservative approach to aesthetics and works closely with her patients to provide a comfortable experience with pleasing results.
